Pastor Jim and Vicki Stewart founded Living Water Worship Center in 1986 in an old, smoky VFW hall in the small village of Albany, Ohio. With a calling to help hurting people find hope, they spent nearly 40 years passionately serving the Albany, Athens, and Meigs communities, boldly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the fall of 2025, they passed the torch to their daughter and son-in-law, Joe and Jami Paintiff.

Pastor Jim Stewart has served as the founding pastor of Living Water Worship Center since February 1987. He has devoted more than half of his life to his calling of bringing souls into the Kingdom. His heart has always been to mend broken people with the love of Jesus Christ. Through faithfully preaching and teaching the Word, Pastor Jim shares his passion so others can experience a deeper, fuller understanding of God’s truth as revealed in Scripture.
Paul David serves as the Worship Pastor at Living Water Worship Center, where his heart is to lead people into authentic, Spirit-filled worship. With a deep love for the presence of God and a passion for seeing lives transformed, Paul David creates an atmosphere where the church can encounter Jesus through praise, worship, and excellence in musical leadership.
He is committed to raising up worshippers, and ensuring that every service reflects the heart of Living Water—Christ-exalting, gospel-centered, and full of grace and truth.
